1999 Broadway, Denver

1999 Broadway, Denver

1999 Broadway is a striking 46-story high-rise office building located in the heart of Denver. Completed in 1985, this Class-A office tower was designed by Curtis W. Fentress of Fentress Architects. It stands at 548 feet (166 meters) tall, making it the 6th tallest building in Denver. The building is renowned for its unique triangular shape, which features a distinctive scoop on one side—a design choice that was made to preserve the historical Holy Ghost Catholic Church at its base.

Situated between 19th and 20th streets on Broadway, 1999 Broadway is strategically located within Denver's Central Business District, offering easy access to major thoroughfares such as Interstate 25 and several key arteries like Park Avenue Viaduct, 20th Street, Speer Boulevard, and Broadway/Lincoln. The building is also adjacent to an RTD light rail station, which connects it to downtown Denver's transportation network, including the 16th Street Mall shuttle and the Southwest Metro rail line.

The building offers a range of amenities designed for modern business needs, including The Classic Cafe, a convenience store, card key access, 24-hour security, closed-circuit monitoring, on-site property management, and a full-time engineering staff. It also boasts ample parking options, including a gated parking structure, valet services, and surface parking.

The triangular design of 1999 Broadway not only enhances its visual appeal but also maximizes efficiency in space planning, providing more glass lines per floor than many competing properties. This design also takes full advantage of the building's western exposure, offering spectacular views of the nearby Rocky Mountains, making it one of Denver's most impressive and iconic skyscrapers.
