Blue Nile, New Orleans
Located inside an historic building built way back in 1832 and possibly the oldest building on the thriving Frenchmen Street, the Blue Nile features two stages hosting a variety of live music performances throughout the week. In keeping with the live music tradition established by its predecessor, the Dream Palace, guests can enjoy anything from funk and blues, to brass bands and soul music, with both upstairs and downstairs spaces dedicated to hosting local, national and international acts.
Typically, you can catch two shows each night, with the first typically starting around 7 or 8 pm and the second kicking off at 10 or 11 pm. The venue offers a unique ambiance, with plush lounge seating and tile floors, creating a funky yet elegant atmosphere that's perfect for socializing early in the evening. As the night progresses, things heat up in the upstairs balcony room, which features a dedicated dance floor, creating a sweaty and sensual vibe for those looking to groove the night away.
Whether you're there for the music, the atmosphere, or both, the Blue Nile offers a memorable night out in New Orleans.

Wednesday: 9 pm to 12:30 am; Thursday: 8:30 pm to 3 am; Friday, Saturday: 7:45 pm to 1:30 am; Sunday: 7:45 pm to 12:30 am
