Brasov Zoo is a popular tourist destination located in the New Quarter of Brasov. Covering an area of 10 hectares, the zoo offers visitors a unique opportunity to relax in a quiet environment, surrounded by lush greenery and animals from all over the world.

The zoo is located next to a forest and a lake, which adds to its natural beauty. The zoo houses over 300 animals from 70 different species, including large predatory cats such as tigers, lions, and jaguars, as well as wolves, deer, bears, and camels. The most significant attractions in the zoo are the paddocks, where rare and endangered species live, such as white Bengal tigers and snow leopards. The Monkey House is also a must-see, as are the terrariums and aquariums that house exotic species such as piranhas, cobras, pythons, alligators, and rattlesnakes.

Brasov Zoo is continually expanding and regularly imports new species of animals. In 2019, it opened a modern planetarium, which offers visitors an immersive experience of the movements of stars and planets. Visitors can also enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant or take their children to the playground.
