Calvary Temple, Hyderabad

Calvary Temple is a significant evangelical and non-denominational Christian congregation, with a membership of 330,000. Dr. P. Satish Kumar, the founder and pastor, oversees the church. In 2012, the church began building an indoor auditorium in Hyderabad, Telangana, featuring stadium-like galleries. The facility opened on January 1, 2013, after just fifty-two days of construction. To accommodate its large congregation, two additional extension auditoriums were built in 2020, allowing 50,000 members to attend a single service.

The Calvary Temple band leads the congregation in music at the beginning of each service. Lyrics are displayed on a screen, enabling attendees to sing along and participate in worship in a manner that suits them. After the music, a pastor delivers a message about Jesus, intended to be hopeful and uplifting.

Calvary Temple in Allentown also focuses on community service and outreach through its learning center. This center provides high-quality, Christian-based education and child care for young children, all within a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment.
