Camel's Back Park, Boise

Camel's Back Park is a 11-acre urban retreat offering a mix of recreation, natural beauty, and community spirit. Established in 1965 and developed through civic contributions, the park features a wide range of amenities, including playgrounds with accessible rubber surfacing, picnic areas, an outdoor gym, and courts for tennis and sand volleyball. It serves as a gateway to the larger Camel’s Back and Hulls Gulch Reserves, connecting visitors to miles of trails and panoramic views of the Treasure Valley.

Additionally, it hosts the Hyde Park Street Fair and marks the start and finish of several YMCA-sponsored races. In winter, its sloping terrain transforms into a popular sledding destination, while warmer months invite drumming circles, kite flyers, and stargazers.
