Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture), Tijuana (must see)
Located west of downtown Tijuana, Casa de la Cultura is one of the most prominent architectural constructions in the city. The foundation stone of the building was laid in 1929 and construction was finished in a year. The majestic red-brick edifice represents Neo-classical architectural style. It has been functioning as a House of Culture since 1977. Today Casa de la Cultura houses a theatre seating 450 visitors, a library, an art gallery of Benjamín Serrano and many workshops. It often organizes great pop and folk music performances as well as theatre performances.
