Catedral Cristo Rey de Acapulco (Cristo Rey Cathedral), Acapulco
Catedral Cristo Rey de Acapulco is a Catholic church with architectural significance. The church is located close to Costera Miguel Aleman Avenue, or the main street of Acapulco. The church contains the sculpture, "The Christ King of Peace," which was made by William Vergara. The construction of the cathedral began in March 2003, and was designed by the architects Plutarch Barreiro and Francisco Cabrera.
