The Cathedral of Learning is a renowned landmark in Pittsburgh. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, it dominates the University of Pittsburgh's main campus in Oakland. Soaring to a height of 535 feet (163 meters) and comprising 42 stories, it holds the distinction of being the second tallest university building globally and the fourth tallest building designed for educational purposes.
