Children's Museum of Phoenix, Phoenix

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix is a wonderful place to visit for families with kids. The age group that this facility is designed for is 10 year olds. Teenagers will be only slightly amused with the exhibits here, but the little ones will absolutely be delighted. This is not the usual be quiet, hands off museum. The philosophy here is get engaged, enjoy and learn.

The kids along with their adult can explore the noodle jungle or do the tricycles wash. There is a book loft to help the excited little ones calm down a bit. There is a car track to get them revved up too. Kids will also love playing in the grocery store. Families are welcome to bring their own sack lunch to eat in designated spots, or there is a café on site that has a full line of sandwiches.

Expect to spend at least half a day here with your kids. The museum is located at 215 N 7th street, and is open Tuesday through Sunday 9am to 4 pm except for holidays. Kids under the age of one get in free, seniors pay $10 and all others - $11. The first Friday night of the month is free from 5pm to 9 pm.
