Chiostro del Paradiso (Cloister of Paradise), Amalfi

The Cloister of Paradise, located to the left of Amalfi's Cathedral porch is a captivating architectural masterpiece that exhibits a Moorish-style design. Constructed in 1266, these magnificent cloisters were originally intended to serve as the final resting place for Amalfi's esteemed citizens.
