Comerica Theatre, Phoenix
The Comerica Theatre is a wonderful new addition to the downtown area of Phoenix. It is located on Washington Street. It is primarily used as an arena and location for concerts. It can seat over 5,000 people. It is a very popular location for musical events. The location got its current name after Comerica Bank purchased the building in 2010. The complex used to be called the Dodge Theatre in days gone by.
One of the most interesting things about this location is that it was the famous venue for the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie. The WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held here in 2010. HBO has done a special here, and the Rock group Chickenfoot did a live album here not long ago. It is a wonderful place to come and catch a show, so we may want to check out their schedule of events for when you plan on being in town.
