Copper Penny, Hartford
In business since 1975, Copper Penny is located on Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield and features an impressive selection of collectible coins and banknotes from all over the world, including the USA, Europe, South America, South Pacific and Asia. Their hand-picked collection includes ancient coins from Greece, Byzantine Empire and Rome, as well as US banknotes dating back to the 1780s, New Zealand coins from the 1940s and many more. The proprietor of the store, Wayne von Hardenberg, is a member of the American Numismatic Association, as well as the Russian Numismatic Society and Early American Coppers.
