Deutsche Bank Twin Towers, Frankfurt

Originally constructed to serve as a property for the American Hyatt hotel group, the Deutsche Bank Twin Towers were subsequently acquired by Deutsche Bank for its corporate offices. This architectural complex comprises two towering structures, each standing at a height of 155 meters, emerging from a four-story base building. Locals often refer to these two towers as the "debit" and "credit" towers.

The development of the Deutsche Bank Twin Towers took place between 1979 and 1984, and its architectural design was attributed to ABB Architects Hanig, Scheid, and Schmidt. The building's primary materials include concrete and a high-quality glass facade. The overall footprint of the complex spans 108,500 square meters. Notably, the floor plans of each tower are positioned at 45-degree angles to prevent direct window views into each other. This layout also promotes the circulation of cool air from the nearby Taunus Mountains throughout the towers and into the city. Presently, the building is undergoing substantial renovation efforts aligned with eco-friendly principles to meet the updated fire regulations set by the city of Frankfurt.

At the building's entrance, one can encounter the largest man-made monolith, known as "Continuity," which was sculpted by the Bauhaus artist Professor Max Bill. This impressive sculpture, standing at a height of 5 meters, is meticulously crafted from a single piece of granite, portraying a continuous, two-sided strip.
