Domaine Viticole De La Ville De Colmar (Wine Estate of Colmar), Colmar

Wine Estate Of The City Of Colmarine (Domaine Viticole De La Ville De Colmar) is a historical wine shop. It was founded in 1895 by botanist and viticulturist Chretien Oberlin.

The shop was not just founded to sell wine but was also a place for the people of Colmar to learn about winemaking. Many viticulturists of Colmar earned their education from Domaine Viticole.

Visitors to the shop can enjoy a wine tasting before they purchase a few bottles to take home. The available wines feature a range of grapes grown at the vineyards owned by the Domaine Viticole. Some of the most popular bottles are the signature Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It also features several award-winning wines, including Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, and Riesling.

Patrons of Domaine Viticole are encouraged to ask questions of the experts who operate the shop. In addition to wine, shoppers can also purchase wine accessories and liqueurs.
