Donau Park, Linz

The Donaulände, also popularly known as Donaupark or Lände, is a public park in Linz that is located in the city center between the Nibelungen Bridge and the VOEST Bridge on the southern bank of the Danube. The banks of the Danube serves as a recreational park and also as a venue for cultural events such as the Linz Cloud of Sound and the Linz festival. In addition, the Donaulände is a popular meeting place for Linz's youth culture in summer.

In addition, the Lentos art museum , which opened in 2003 and which glows in different colors at night, and the Brucknerhaus (since 1973) are located on the Donaulände. The Danube Park, the Lentos, the Brucknerhaus, as well as the Danube and the Danube bridges are an essential part of the silhouette of the city center of Linz.
