Expo Guadalajara, Guadalajara
The Expo Guadalajara Convention Center is a venue where national and international exhibitions, congresses, conventions and events are held, located in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. It is located on Avenida Mariano Otero 1499 on the corner of Avenida de las Rosas in the southwest of the city. Its construction began in 1983 and its completion and inauguration was in 1987.
It has several rooms of different capacities that are used depending on the category of each of the events to be held: The Jalisco room that is used for exhibitions with 25,596 square meters, room Guadalajara with 13,000 square meters, Mexico room with 26,000 square meters, event room with 2,400 square meters, and several rooms called regional in the upper part for smaller events.
Two business centers that have rooms for meetings and work meetings; in Business Center I there are 9 rooms and in Business Center II there are 10 rooms. The most recent hall that was built is called Parade which is used for fashion events and catwalks. A restaurant-bar and various snacks within the exhibition halls. It has a parking lot for more than 1,000 cars.1 In addition, the Guadalajara International Book Fair has been commemorated here every year since 1993.
