Folkteatern, Gothenburg

Folkteatern is a regional theatre in Gothenburg. Founded in 1951, the theater has deep roots in the worker's movement, reflecting the social and political climate of its time. It's not merely a venue for performances but a symbol of community involvement, jointly owned by 300 organizations and supported financially by both the government and the Västra Götaland Regional Council.

With a main stage accommodating 400 spectators and a smaller stage for 60, Folkteatern provides an intimate yet adaptable setting for various performances.
