Forum Cinema, Riga

Forum Cinema, Riga

Forum Cinema in Riga is the first multi-hall cinema in the nation, inaugurated on October 31, 2003. It has since maintained its status as one of the largest and most modern cinemas in Eastern Europe. Spanning six floors, this cinema complex features 14 cinema halls, including special balcony seating areas with 40 and 34 seats each, where patrons can enjoy a more private viewing experience. These balconies are equipped with tables and offer direct access to drinks from the rooftop bar "Vertigo."

The cinema is not only about watching movies; it also focuses on providing a complete entertainment experience. It houses two cafes, including "Hot'n Fresh" and "Pop House," the latter being the first self-service cinema café in Latvia, introduced during the cinema's tenth anniversary.

Technologically, Forum Cinema is outfitted with cutting-edge cinema technology such as Dolby sound systems, Barco and Christie digital projectors, and Dolby 3D systems. Additionally, some auditoriums still preserve the traditional 35mm projectors from Cinemehanica. The seating in the auditoriums is amphitheater-style, ensuring that every seat has an unobstructed view and optimal sound quality.

The crown jewel of Forum Cinema is the PEPSI cinema auditorium. This hall is the most modern cinema space in the Baltics, featuring 602 seats, a Dolby Atmos sound system for multidimensional sound experiences, premium eco-leather chairs, and a 4K laser projector that enhances the viewing detail of films.

Since its inception, Forum Cinema has aimed to provide more than just movie screenings. It offers a quality entertainment venue where movies, concerts, and opera broadcasts are key components.
