Hilton Beach, Tel Aviv
Hilton Beach is named so after the adjacent hotel, and is split into three parts – southern, middle, and northern – separated by breakwaters. The place is ideal for those looking to surf, suntan and swim, as well as to enjoy some people watching too.
The southern side is the Surfer’s beach, a much favored training spot by the local surfers for catching a wave. Generally designated for water sports, it caters for wave surfing, windsurfing and kayaking. For those looking to partake in any of these activities, a visit to TopSea, a long-standing training school located along the beach, is a great choice for rentals and instruction.
A dog beach in the north, known in Hebrew as “Hof Haklavim”, has inevitably become a center for singles to bring their furry friends to enjoy a cool dip in the water and unleashed running around. The middle area of Hilton Beach is an unofficial gay beach that has been inspired by Super Paradise Beach on the Greek island of Mykonos. Being one of the most popular places all year-round, but particularly busy during the famous Tel Aviv Pride week, this popular hub is notably marked by rainbow flags and is welcoming everyone.
Regardless of which of the three sections you choose, the natural beauty overlooking the sea is unmistakable and the overall vibe of the Hilton beach is maintained. Hilton Beach offers full access for the disabled.

A Walk in The Old City of Jaffa
One of the oldest port cities on the Mediterranean coast, the first record of which dates back to the 15th century BC, Jaffa is a part of Tel Aviv, although quite different in terms of vibe. Famous for its ancient slate houses and narrow winding stone roads, it feels a bit similar to the ancient towns of Asia, but far less noisy and not too crowded.
