HistoryLand, Poznan
This creative venture was conceived by three dedicated enthusiasts who shared a deep love for history and their hometown, combined with a passion for LEGO® bricks.
The idea for HistoryLand was born over a decade ago, and its realization took several years, culminating in its official opening in 2017. The founders embarked on a mission to create detailed models that would showcase historical landmarks and events, all crafted with exceptional precision. To ensure historical accuracy, they collaborated with skilled model makers and sought the guidance of historians who became valuable contributors to the project.
One of the remarkable aspects of HistoryLand is the use of LEGO® bricks to construct all the models at a 1:50 scale, meticulously adapting each object's dimensions to match the LEGO® figure. In total, over a million LEGO® bricks were employed in the construction of these intricate models.
The project incorporates advanced technologies such as professional video mapping projected onto the models, multimedia elements and interactivity. These modern features create a kid-oriented historical exhibition that engages the senses and captivates visitors of all ages.
