Kathu Waterfall, Phuket
A notable local sight is considered to be the Kathu Waterfall, also known as Kathu Sai Waterfall or Nam Tok Kathu. On the road to it you will see a black marble sign which will show you where to turn. In order to see the highest level of the waterfall you will have to climb up many many stairs, so be prepared. It would be better to have some water with you in a case, if not there are many stall with water and beverages at the levels. There are couple natural and artificially created pools where you can even take a swim or simply take photos. Kathu Waterfall flows down on one of Kao Kamala Kao Kamala Mountain sides, which is embellished by rainy forest. It is a good place to relax and calm down after an active walking tour through the town.
