LCGA's impressive collection spans from the 18th to the 21st century, showcasing Irish art across all media. This collection is rotated throughout the year, ensuring fresh experiences for repeat visitors.

In addition to its permanent collection, LCGA hosts around eight contemporary exhibitions annually, featuring both Irish and international artists. The gallery is also a proud host of EVA International, Ireland's biennial of contemporary art, further solidifying its status as a significant venue for artistic innovation and cultural dialogue.

By offering a dynamic mix of temporary exhibitions and a rotating display of its permanent collection, LCGA provides a comprehensive and enriching art experience, celebrating the best of both contemporary and historical Irish art.
