The Montpellier Zoological Park (Parc Zoologique de Lunaret) is one of the largest and most captivating zoological parks in France. Situated just north of Montpellier in the Occitanie region, this expansive park spans over 80 hectares (198 acres) and provides a sanctuary for a diverse array of wildlife. Housing over 500 animals and 8,000 plants across 300 species, the greenhouse is home to fascinating creatures such as anacondas, armadillos, tamarins, and ocelots, while the plant collection includes species like Anthurium ferrierense, Philodendron panduriforme, and Vriesea carinata.
