Neo Quimica Arena, Sao Paulo

The sports stadium in São Paulo, previously known as Arena Corinthians, has been renamed Neo Química Arena. It is owned, operated, and utilized by Corinthians, a professional sports club. Corinthians officially received the stadium on 15th April 2014. With a seating capacity of 49,205, it ranks as the fifth-largest stadium used by top-tier teams in the Brazilian League and the eleventh-largest in Brazil.

During the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Neo Química Arena hosted six matches, including the opening match on 12th June 2014. To meet the World Cup's requirement of having at least 65,000 seats for the opening match, temporary seats were added to the stadium. Following the conclusion of the tournament, these temporary seats were gradually removed.

The stadium's design by Aníbal Coutinho focused on enhancing the connection between the team, the fans, and the action on the field. A team of 25 architects, led by Coutinho, worked on this project. The complex covers an area of 197,095.14 square meters, with a built-up area of 189,000 square meters. Neo Química Arena has a rectangular shape, measuring 267 by 228 meters, and stands at a height of 43 meters. It comprises two buildings, situated on the west and east sides respectively, while the north and south ends reach a height of 15 meters. The stadium's location at 777 São Jorge Street carries symbolic meaning, representing the club's lucky number and their historic championship victory in 1977.
