Parque de Diversiones Mundo Petapa, Guatemala City

Formerly called IRTRA Petapa, Parque de Diversiones Mundo Petapa is an amusement park. It was inaugurated on March 26, 1976 and reopened on August 13, 2010 (expansion and improvements in amusement areas). Now it has more capacity since it can serve more than 12,500 concurrent visitors, amusement games such as: Remolino and Troncosplash (water games), Motobala (roller coaster with a speed of 60 km/h in 2 seconds), Skyscrapers with a height of 54 meters, and other games that will inject adrenaline in your blood with emotions. Another new attraction in the park is the Plaza Mi Barrio, with buildings that take us back in the history of Guatemala and learn about customs and traditions that were promoted in those times.
