Porsche Museum, Stuttgart (must see)

The Porsche Museum tells the story of Porche. World-famous and iconic Porches are on display, such as the Porsche 356 "No 1" Roadster, various Porsche 911 models, and the Porsche 550 and 917. Visitors can tour the legendary vehicles in chronological order. There are dozens of cars on display.

The museum is housed in an architecturally dynamic building, completed in 2009. The building is supported by three columns, making it appear to hover.

A stunning sculpture outside the museum will capture visitors' attention. The sculpture features three pillars, with the tallest measuring 24 meters (78 feet). Three iconic Porche 911's from different decades are mounted on the top of each pillar.

Porche's association with Stuttgart began in 1931 when Ferdinard Porche moved to Stuttgart and began designing engine components.

Museum visitors can explore Porsche's history. For example, Ferdinand Porche's first design was an electric car. The Porsche 64 was built in 1938, and the legendary Porche 911 was assembled in the Stuttgart factory in 1963.

The Museum is home to a shop where fans can find souvenirs and collector's items. The museum also organizes Porsche rentals so visitors can experience driving their dream car.
