Port of Suva, Suva

The Port of Suva stands as the largest and busiest international port in the country, offering a range of services to various types of vessels, including passenger ships, container vessels, general cargo ships, tankers, and diplomatic vessels. With its strategic location and comprehensive facilities, the port plays a vital role in Fiji's maritime activities.

The prominent 496-meter Kings Wharf serves as the main berth for large vessels visiting Suva. Approximately 300 meters of this berth is a modern quay facility, while the remaining 195 meters is supported by piles. Kings Wharf, originally constructed on reclaimed land during World War I to replace the smaller Queen's Wharf at Pier Street, stands as a significant maritime infrastructure in the region.
