The Printing Museum, located in Houston, is a unique and engaging institution that explores the history, art, and technology of printing. Founded in 1979 by four passionate printers, the Museum has a mission to ignite creativity, foster tangible self-expression, and champion the history and power of print. The Museum showcases over 10,000 items in its permanent collection, including some of the earliest printed documents, fine-art facsimiles such as the Gutenberg Bible, and contemporary limited-edition works on paper.

Visitors to the Museum can enjoy interactive tours and creative workshops, making it a great place for both kids and adults. The Museum's vision is to see the art of print continue to be a catalyst for sharing ideas and connecting people.

The Printing Museum had its official opening in 1982, with Dr. Hans Halaby, Director of the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany, cutting the ribbon. In 2012, the Museum rebranded as The Printing Museum.
