The Regal Santa Cruz 9, now known as Santa Cruz Cinema, is a prominent movie theater located on Pacific Avenue in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. Initially opened by Signature Theatres on May 19, 1995, it came under the operation of Regal Cinemas, the nation's largest theater chain, in September 2004. The theater experienced a closure on March 16, 2020, but it was revived and reopened as Santa Cruz Cinema on March 25, 2021, managed by the operators of West Winds Drive-In.

This contemporary theater features nine screens and offers a selection of mainstream films, Hollywood blockbusters, independent, and foreign films, as well as broadcasts from The Met Opera. Known for its clean environment and high-quality audio-visual systems, Santa Cruz Cinema provides a comfortable movie-going experience with its stadium seating.
