Renaissance Nashville Hotel, Nashville
The Renaissance Nashville Hotel, situated on Commerce Street, stands at a towering height of 385 feet, boasting 35 floors. Notably, it serves as the main hotel affiliated with the Nashville Convention Center, physically connected to it. This hotel offers a total of 649 rooms, including 24 luxurious suites, along with 25 meeting rooms encompassing a generous 31,000 square feet of space for various events and gatherings. Additionally, there are two concierge levels, one of which houses a Starbucks coffee shop, two inviting lounges, and a fully-fledged restaurant.
Interestingly, one of these lounges is perched in an enclosed bridge walkway that spans across Commerce Street, linking the hotel to a parking garage on the opposite side. This walkway endured significant damage during a tornado that struck downtown Nashville in 1998.
Beyond its role as a hotel, the building dedicates its top 6 floors to office space, referred to as the Renaissance Office Tower. Accessible via a separate set of elevators on the second floor, these office suites offer additional functionality to the establishment. It's worth noting that the hotel originally bore the name "Stouffer Hotel" before Marriott's acquisition of the Stouffer Corp.
