Robinson Center Music Hall, Little Rock
Nestled in downtown Little Rock’s Statehouse Plaza, the Robinson Center Music Hall is a historic performance venue that has been an integral part of the city’s cultural scene since its construction in 1939. Designed by Eugene J. Stern and Wittenberg & Delony, the building’s Greek Revival-inspired south façade—with its stately columns—creates a visual harmony with the nearby Old State House Museum. In recognition of its architectural and cultural significance, the hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007 under its original name, the Joseph Taylor Robinson Municipal Auditorium.
Named after Joseph Taylor Robinson, a former U.S. Senator, Congressman, and Arkansas Governor, the Robinson Center continues to serve as Little Rock’s premier performance and event venue. It is home to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, as well as a popular destination for Broadway productions, concerts, and special events. The music hall seats 2,222 guests, offering a grand yet intimate atmosphere for performances of all kinds.
Beyond the concert hall, the Robinson Center Conference Center extends the facility’s offerings with meeting spaces, ballrooms, and a river-facing terrace—a prime location for weddings, corporate gatherings, and conventions. This addition, positioned on the building’s north side, provides stunning views of the Arkansas River.
The center operates under the management of the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, headquartered across the plaza in the Cromwell Building. Together with the adjacent Statehouse Convention Center, Robinson Center cements its place as a key hub for arts, culture, and events in Arkansas' capital city.
