Royal Palace Theatre, Luang Prabang

Located on the grounds of the former Royal Palace, built in 1904, the Royal Palace Theatre embodies a rich blend of traditional Lao and French Beaux-Arts architecture. After 1975, with the cessation of the monarchy, the palace was transformed into a national museum and opened its doors to the public in 1995.

This venue, initially serving as a royal reception hall, is now famously known as the Phralak Phralam Theater.
