Salisbury Rail Station, Salisbury

Salisbury Rail Station, or more formally the London and South Western Railway station at Salisbury, is an important transportation center for the city. The station is situated in the heart of the city and is a grand, imposing building. The white buildings in the area are the former LSW Railway station, which was built in 1859. The adjacent red brick building, erected in 1902, houses the entrance hall, ticket office and station facilities. Train service is available to London, Wessex, Bristol, Exeter, Somerset and other cities.
