Sandton City Office Tower, Johannesburg
Connected to Nelson Mandela Square by a pedestrian mall bridge, the Sandton City Office Tower stands tall at 22 stories, offering prime business space in Johannesburg, close to the city's financial district. Within the same building, you'll find the upscale Sandton City Shopping Centre. This tower serves as a central hub for South African commerce, housing the country's "Top 4" banks. In 2014, this iconic office tower underwent a revitalization project, receiving a contemporary facade cladding that was applied over the original concrete structure, along with an extended spire atop the tower.
