The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, also known as The Amp, is a popular concert and event venue located in St. Augustine. With a capacity of 4,700 people, The Amp is one of the premier concert venues in St. Johns County, known for hosting world-class performances from well-known artists like Bob Dylan, John Legend, ZZ Top, Imagine Dragons, and many more.

In addition to hosting concerts, The Amp also hosts multiple community events throughout the year, including the Saturday Farmers Market and the annual Sing Out Loud Festival in September. The Farmers Market, which takes place every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. The market offers a wide variety of locally grown vegetables, fruits, artisan breads, pastries, flowers, and plants, as well as locally-made crafts and datil sauces, a popular local condiment.

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, The Amp hosts a Night Market from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This event features live entertainment and up to 90 vendors selling handmade arts and crafts and other goods.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre was originally built in 1965 to commemorate St. Augustine's 400th anniversary. In 2002, it was acquired by St. Johns County and underwent an extensive renovation, which included the addition of a canopy over the main stage and seating areas to provide protection from rain. In 2019, the venue took on its new name, The Amp, along with the motto "Big Acts, Small Venue," which reflects the community's love for the intimate and unique concert experience that The Amp provides.

Owned and operated by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, The Amp is an important cultural and entertainment destination in St. Augustine. Whether attending a concert, shopping at the Farmers Market, or enjoying the Night Market, visitors to The Amp are sure to have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
