St. George's Church, Podgorica

Being Podgorica's oldest church, Saint George's is nestled among flavorful trees at the foot of Gorica hill. Even if it's considered to have a simple architecture, the church is worth admiring due to its 16th century nave beautified with frescoes and icons dating from the 19th century. Saint George's also has a shop in the front room where you can find different religious items. Behind the church, there is an old cemetery where you can have a walk and even fall into some graves.
