St. Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church, Wilmington

Saint Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church was designed in 1904 in the Gothic Revival style by architectural firm E. Brielmaier and Sons Company. It has a Greek-cross plan and three naves separated by adorned columns, as well as an arched ceiling. Two 40-meter-high towers frame the entrance. Saint Hedwig’s is listed on the National Register. The Church holds an annual Polish festival with Polish food, carnival rides and amusements.
