St. Nicholas Hospital, Salisbury

St. Nicholas Hospital is located south of the Salisbury Cathedral Close. The first mention of the hospital dates back to the beginning of the 13th century. Today the hospital is a society under the supervision of the Bishop of Salisbury. It provides accommodation and assistance to retired men and women. Throughout its long history, the hospital underwent many structural changes, although some of its original medieval architectural features remain.
