The Blarney, Toledo
The Blarney is a pub that was opened by a man who was excited to travel to 35 Irish pubs. With the help of Tom Pounds (the publisher and owner of The Toledo Free Press), he founded the building that was later named ‘The Blarney Irish Pub’ and was opened in November 2006. All the furniture and some pictures were bought from Ireland to help visitors feel the atmosphere near The Blarney Castle on Emerald Isle. They have live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The first Saturday of each month bands from Toledo, Canada, Detroit, Ann Arbor as well as Celtic Irish bands perform here as well. They have something for everyone, so be ready for a great evening!
