The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Agra

The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located close to the Agra University and is the seat Roman Catholic Archdiocese in Agra. It has a specific catholic cathedral architecture and is one of the few Christian sites in Agra. The architect of the Cathedral was Rev. Fr. Bonaventure from Florence. In 1857 the Church was extensively damaged during the First War of Independence.
