The Kansas African American Museum, Wichita

The Kansas African American Museum was established in 1917, in a former Old Calvary Baptist Church. Initially it was named the First National Black Historical Society but later they changed the named; since 1999 it is used as a museum. There are various paintings, sculptures and statues that represent African culture. There are also photographs and occasionally musicians that come to play live jazz and blues.
