Tiffany & Co., Chicago
In 2015, Tiffany & Co. revealed its newly redesigned store at 730 North Michigan Avenue, marking the upcoming 50th anniversary of its presence in Chicago. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a contemporary and opulent atmosphere adorned with the dazzling diamonds that have characterized Tiffany for over 180 years.
The store showcases an array of exquisite stones, including engagement rings, as well as jewelry featuring rare colored diamonds like the famed Tiffany Yellow Diamonds. Beyond these, the collection includes the masterpieces of Jean Schlumberger, the sculptural jewelry of Elsa Peretti, and the creations of Paloma Picasso—Tiffany's exclusive designers. Customers can also explore fresh interpretations of iconic collections like Tiffany Victoria™, Tiffany Bow, and Tiffany Infinity, reimagined by Design Director Francesca Amfitheatrof to be worn individually or in stunning combinations.
The building's two-story granite façade draws inspiration from the flagship store on Fifth Avenue, now adorned with awnings in Tiffany's signature shade of blue. A true Tiffany emblem, the store's original Atlas clock—a nine-foot figure of the mythic Greek god holding a clock overhead—graces the entrance, welcome those who step inside. Spanning approximately 10,100 square feet, the store boasts a dedicated Tiffany Watch Salon, the first of its kind in the Americas, and five private sales salons for an exceptional shopping experience.
