Wells Fargo Center, Salt Lake City

Wells Fargo Center, Salt Lake City

The Wells Fargo Center is a prominent skyscraper in Downtown Salt Lake City, standing as the state’s tallest building. Built in 1998, this striking structure rises 24 stories and reaches a roof height of 400 feet, with its tallest point (excluding the antenna) extending to 422 feet. Originally constructed as the headquarters for American Stores, known for brands like Sav-on, Osco, and Jewel, the building underwent a series of ownership changes shortly after completion. In 1998, American Stores was acquired by Albertsons, leading the building to be rebranded as the Delta Tower. Not long after, Albertsons relocated, and Wells Fargo purchased the skyscraper, renaming it the Wells Fargo Center.

Today, the Wells Fargo Center houses various tenants, including Wells Fargo Bank and a host of prestigious law firms, as well as the former headquarters of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Its modern glass facade, elegant design, and prime location give it a distinct presence in Salt Lake City’s skyline. With sweeping mountain views from higher floors, it offers a premium business environment with flexible leasing options, ranging from six months to three years, accommodating furnished or unfurnished office spaces. Conference rooms equipped with the latest technology provide an ideal setting for professional gatherings, enhancing the corporate image of businesses within.

Conveniently located near Interstates I-15, I-80, and I-215, the Wells Fargo Center is only a 10-minute drive from Salt Lake International Airport. The center is also accessible via free public transit within downtown’s business district and is within walking distance of attractions like Capitol Theatres, Gallivan Center, and a variety of restaurants, shops, and hotels. The Wells Fargo Center continues to be a prime choice for businesses seeking a prestigious, adaptable, and well-connected office space in Salt Lake City.
