Woki Cinema, Bonn

The WOKI Cinema is a well-loved movie theatre. First opened in 1956 and rebranded to “WOKI” in 1998, it features three screens-one large Main Screen seating around 430 and the Atelier with about 69 seats-offering a cozy yet cinematic atmosphere.

This cinema is particularly popular among students and locals for its balanced programming: a mix of current mainstream films and a curated 20% of arthouse and classic titles. With regular special events like English-language sneak previews, family matinees, and “first-time cinema” screenings for kids, WOKI strives to be welcoming to audiences of all ages and tastes.

Inside, the foyer impresses with its large glass façade, film posters, and friendly box office staff. A café corner serves fresh popcorn, drinks, and snacks at some of the most affordable prices.
