Münster is an easily accessible city in North Rhine-Westphalia. I traveled from the Netherlands, taking advantage of the convenient train connection from Arnhem. I arrived at Münster Hauptbahnhof, the city’s main train station, which is just a short walk from the city center. Traveling by train was not only eco-friendly but also hassle-free, with regular connections from major cities like Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg.

Münster is compact and ideal for exploring on foot or by bike. I explored everything on foot. If you’re driving, parking near the Christmas markets can be tricky, especially during peak times.
