City Center Shopping Walk (Self Guided), Nice

Nice city center boasts enough shopping opportunities to keep you busy for days. The heart of this retail haven is the Avenue Jean Médecin, considered the Oxford Street of Nice and the streets leading off it. These are home to most of the biggest designer names in the world, familiar exclusive brands such as Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Amani, Cartier and Max Mara. Also on the street is a smattering of tourist-friendly stores and international chains.

Spend some time on Rue Paradis, where many of the international design stores are located. Browse racks and shelves to discover brilliant new looks and ultra-stylish creations. The prices are known to be very expensive here, but many people come to walk along the street to enjoy a delightful window shopping experience.

Go to Place Massena, Nice's main square, which features an excellent mixture of shops, restaurants and cafés. Leading off the square is Rue Massena, a pedestrianized street lined with designer shops and more fabulous cafés and restaurants.
