When you are in Aberdeen city center, a vast range of shopping opportunities are within very easy reach. All of the city's big shopping centers can be found here, and they are only a short walking distance from each other. Among them is Union Square, the newest and largest shopping center in Aberdeen, featuring well-known high street brands and upmarket shops. In addition to the numerous stores, cafés, restaurants and bars, it also hosts the city's largest cinema.
Another must-see on your shopping itinerary is the Academy, a large retail center situated in a converted Victorian school building. It features a wide selection of shopping brands, some of which are exclusive to Aberdeen. After shopping for designer brands, enjoy a cocktail in the Academy’s pleasant courtyard.
