La Condamine Shopping Walk (Self Guided), Monte-Carlo

A popular shopping destination for both locals and visitors is La Condamine. It offers probably the most diverse shopping experience in this part of the principality of Monaco. There are more than 200 shops in the area, selling everything from fresh fruit and flowers to high fashion and jewelry.

Head to Rue Grimaldi, Rue Millo and Rue Terrazzani, which are lined with numerous specialists' shops. One of the most popular places to shop in La Condamine neighborhood is the Rue Princess Caroline, a charming pedestrianized street. Visit the daily morning Condamine Market at the Place d’Armes. You can pick up fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers in the open-air section of the market, while in the covered area, you will discover stalls filled with fish, breads, cakes, meat, home wear and utensils.

The market is also where you can buy some cheap souvenirs, such as Formula One memorabilia. After your trip to the market, take a seat at one of the cozy cafés on the square and watch a slice of Monaco life pass you by.
