Monastiraki and Kolonaki Shopping (Self Guided), Athens

When in Athens, spend your Sunday mornings searching for antiques and collectibles at Monastiraki's flea market. This is one of the most famous markets in the city and its stalls are brimming with just about anything you can imagine, including carpets, furniture, clothes, vintage CDs and rare books. There are plenty of other shopping opportunities at all times of the week in the neighborhood's many stores.
