Quartier Saint-Louis (Saint Louis District), Versailles
The Saint-Louis District is a district of Versailles, in the French department of Yvelines.
It is one of the two districts, with the Notre-Dame district, created under Louis XIV to the east of the Palace of Versailles, both built in a checkerboard pattern around eponymous central squares, on which the markets were established. Today, only the Notre-Dame Square market remains.
